Sharing Sweets on The Prophet (S.A.W) ‘s Birthday
Question: is it okay to share sweets to kids in a school for the prophets birthday? if not what should one do if the leader of the school insists upon it.
Answer:
Assalamu alaikum.
No, this should not be done. It is not in accordance to the teachings of the Prophet (s.a.w). If the leader of the school insists, then you may not be able to stop him/her. But, you can tell the person what is right, and at the same time refrain from doing this.
