Performing aqeeqah with an animal as a gift.
Q. Can a person perform an aqeeqah with an animal that is gifted to them from close relatives or do the parents have to buy it themselves?
A. Yes, it is permissible to do an Aqeeqa with this animal. There is no need for the parents to purchase another one.
