People drowning at the time of Nuh.
Q. I heard an Imam saying that in the story of Nuh alayhi salaam that not all the people outside of the ship drowned but some were saved in a cave that they sealed and later drowned in their own urine. Is this correct and if so what is the source of the story?
A. Based on my research, I have not seen any incident of this nature. There is no authentic source for this information and what is evident in the Holy Quran as explained by the sound and reliable Mufassireen (commentators of the Holy Quran) is that all the people outside the ship drowned in the flood which was sent as a punishment.
