Muslim female and Christian male relationship.
Question:
My question is whether it is permissible for a Muslim female to date a Christian male who does not drink, eat meat etc. Does he have to be a Muslim for the nikaah ceremony to be performed? What if he agrees that the children will be raised in Islam and the household will be run as an Islamic one? Is this relationship permissible?
Answer:
It is not permissible for a Muslim female to date a christian male whether he drinks, eats meat or not. Marriage/Nikah with such a person is totally unlawful in Islaam.
This relationship is not permissible.
