Going to Movies and Cinemas.
Question:
Is it permissible to go to movies and cinemas?
Answer:
It is totally Haraam (unlawful) to go to movies and cinemas. Such places and environments are filled with a tremendous amount of evil and sinful deeds, which can bring about the wrath and punishment of Allah.
According to a tradition recorded by Imam Bukhaari, the Prophet (S.A) is reported to have said that a person must protect his ‘Deen’ (Islam) from such evil and sinful places.
There is absolutely no sound, authentic and reliable Scholar of Islam who has allowed such practices.
