Menstruating woman performing hajj.
Q. I would like to ask a question on behalf of my wife. She would like to know if a woman is menstruating if she can still make hajj or if it is permissible to take pills to delay her cycle for that period.
A. If your wife is menstruating, she can still preform the Hajj, however, she will not be able to make Tawaaf of the Kaaba until she is pure. She can visit and fulfil the rituals at other places like going to Mina, Arafah, Muzdalifah and at the Jamaraat.
It is permissible for her to take pills to delay her menses for that period.
