Joining 2 salaats or praying before time.
Q. If someone knows for sure that they are going to miss a particular salaat or if you think that you will miss any of the 5 compulsory salaats, because of being in work or being on the roads during salaat times, or even going out to a certain place where it is difficult to perform the salaat, is it permissible to pray before the prescribed timings and join 2 salaats or is it better to pray the salaat in qadaa, after the time has past?
A. It is not permissible for one to perform Salaah before its time, nor is it allowed to join two Salaats. In the above situation, one must try his/her best to perform Salaah within its time. If this could not be accomplished, then the Salaah must be performed as Qadha.
