Inviting a non Muslim to Islam.
Q. What is the best way to go about inviting a non muslim to islam? A person who knows absolutely nothing about Islam and lives totally opposite to what Islam teaches.
A. While inviting a non-Muslim to Islam, one should start by explaining the basic teachings of our beliefs to him/her. Make the person understand what our beliefs are about the oneness of God, His Angels, Prophets, Scriptures, life after death, Paradise and Hell etc. After this, you can explain to them our values, our good way of living, family life, community life, not getting involved in wrong things etc, etc. After this, you can begin to explain our worship, our prayer, charity/zakaat, fasting etc.
