Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R.A) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “If anyone finds pleasure in receiving a positive answer from Allah in times of difficulty and anxiety, then he should make many supplications when times are easy”.

(Tirmizi, Hadith No.3382, Vol.2, Pg.465, Altaf and Sons)

Here, the Prophet (S.A) has given an ideal prescription as to how one can get his duas answered when he is in difficult times. The way to achieve this is that while in good times, in ease and comfort, while enjoying the good things of life, one should make a lot of duas (supplication) to Allah. In this good state, one should thank Allah and remember Him frequently, and continue to raise his hands to him, calling His blessed name and beseeching Him. In doing this, Allah will respond to the servant’s call and will grant him his wishes and desires, and will remove his difficulties when the servant needs His help. One should not call on Allah and remember Him, only at times of difficulties. Instead, one should always supplicate to Allah and remember Him in times of goodness and ease.
