Delaying acceptance of Islam because of challenges by non-Muslim relatives

Please Advice:
My neighbor wants to accept islaam as the way of life/become muslim. However he is challenged with being from a Hindu home which he still reside with his siblings, his elder brother will most likely be displeased & he don’t want to cause any tension. At the moment he cant afford to build his own room. Due to these reasons he has chosen to wait until he can be on his own before he Testifies shahaada. I make dua about it and told him that it is best to confirm faith regardless of this. Can you give advice?

Wa Alaikum As salaam,
This person should accept Islam as soon as possible. Make him recite the shahada so that he can be a Muslim/believer who will be upon the path of truth and salvation.
Based on his present situation, he should conceal this from his other family members, until the situation becomes better.
