I am very confused about the usage of Allah’s attributes.
Question:
i am very confused about the usage of Allah’s attributes. for instance Allah is As Samad (self sufficient)or Al Qudoos (the Holy). therefore can i say in class “we need to take the following steps so that our economy can be self sufficient” when i know only Allah is truly self sufficient, creation needs Him. Also saying “the holy kaaba/ the holy quran”, am i allowed to say this as Al Qudoos translates to “The Holy/The Sacred”?
Answer:
The words self sufficient for the economy is used in a different context. Hence, it is allowed to use it. Holy means some thing sacred so you can use it for the kaaba and Quran.
