Resumption Of Part Time Classes

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Darul Uloom wishes to inform all Muslims of the resumption of all the part time courses and classes for the academic year September 2014-July 2015.

All courses are available to the general Muslim public (Males and Females) and are offered free of charge.

Muslims are encouraged to seize this opportunity of leaning Islam and enrol in any of the courses offered.

 

 

Dates and timings for part time courses:

MALES:

  • Tafseer of the Holy Quran (Fully in English)– Mondays 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
    Commencing on Monday 8th September 2014.
  • Al fadhil Associate Degree Programme in Islamic Studies (for both males and females) and Diploma in Islamic Studies. – Saturdays 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
    commencing on Saturday 13th September 2014.
  • Recitation Of Quran/Qaari Course – Saturdays: 9:00 am-10:00 am
    Commencing on Saturday 13th September 2014.

 

 

FEMALES:

All classes for females will be conducted on Saturdays. These are:

  • Tafseer of the Holy Quran: 3:00 pm-4:00 pm.
  • Recitation of Quran Course: 4:00 pm-5:00pm.

The above classes will commence on Saturday 13th September 2014 for the females (at the Alimah Building of the Boys’ College).

Requirements for a Foreign Student

  • Students must travel on a one-year round trip ticket.
  • Students must bring the necessary money to cover the following:
    X-RAY: $35.00 USD.
    MEDICAL: $35.00 USD.
    STUDENT VISA: $60.00 USD (Caricom Countries ONLY).
    STUDENT VISA: $200.00 USD (Non Caricom Countries).
    BOOKS: $200.00 USD.
    CUPBOARD: $150.00 USD.
    MATTRESS AND PILLOW $100.00 USD
  • Students must provide personal items, such as mattresses, sheets, blankets, soap etc.
  • Students should walk with money for personal necessities and medical care.
  • Students must provide birth certificate along with all other certificates acquired during educational pursuit.
  • Students between the ages 16 and 18 must provide a custody letter from the Magistrate Court, stating that parents are giving custody to Darul Uloom T&T for their children to study at Darul Uloom T&T Ltd.
  • After acceptance, a student’s acceptance letter is sent to the student. This acceptance letter must be presented to the Immigration officer at the airport upon entry to Trinidad and Tobago. Passport information is needed to issue this letter.
